At Bjarteyjarsandur in Hvalfjörður, the main activities are sheep farming and tourist services. Guest accommodation is in well constructed summer chalets. situated on the hillside above the farm. The Old Farm at Husafell, built in 1908, was renovated and has since been used as a guesthouse and restaurant during the summer.
