Day 1
Visit Þingvellir and then walk the ancient way Leggjabrjótur from Svartagil at Þingvellir over to Glymur waterfall in Hvalfjordur Bay. Glymur is the highest waterfall in Iceland.
Overnight at Hotel Glymur, Bjarteyjarsandur or other accommodation in the area.

Day 2
Rather easy day. Walk around the old World War II military base and the whaling station in Hvalfjordur (Whale fjord bay). For even more enjoyable walk Jón the host at Hotel Glymur offers superb guided tours.

Day 3
Walk another ancient way called "Path of the Herring men" (Síldarmannagötur) from Hvalfjordur Bay over to Skorradalur.
Overnight at Borgarnes B&B, Bjarg Guesthouse, Borgarnes Hostel or other accommodation in Borgarnes.

Day 4
Walk from Indridastadir in Skorradalur over small hills like Hestfjall with a good view over the agricultural area Borgarfjordur. Part of the hiking you can walk in the dry canal of Andakíl river. Spend the night at Fossatún five stars camping area.

Day 5
From Fossatún continue your hiking to Reykholt where Snorri Sturluson the famous writer lived. On the way you can enjoy the Deildartunguhver geyser and the powerful smoke from him is ideal to clean your nostrils and push some energy in your body for the last hour of walk.

 Day 6
From Reykholt you almost straight north towards Bifrost and the surrounding area where Hredavatn lake is the pearl among pearls. It is ideal to spend the last night in Hraunsnef Country Hotel, enjoy the hot tup and a wonderful meal made by Brynja the hostess of Hraunsnef. What a great night after a great tour.
